Young Women's Health
The statistics of young women are staggering, and unlike other groups, most of the mortality and health problems are preventable. Research with young women demonstrates repeatedly, that what enhances health for girls is connectionů to have at least one caring adult that listens to them.

Professionals as nurses, nurse practitioners, pediatricians, therapists and clergy, are all in an excellent position to impact the health of young women and their families. We have a knowledge base, skills and concern that can make a real difference in their lives and level of wellness.

DoubleSunrise is a resource for you and those you work with:

  • Applies contemporary research to young women's health.
  • Offers safe and reliable health information for young women and their parents.
  • We can send you:

  • Free Bookmarks for your patients. Just email us
  • Free brochures for young women and parents of girls. Just email us.
  • Facilitator Kits so you can run Mother/Daughter groups as well as a group "Stopping Smoking (is differnt) For Young Women"
  • This is a new, nurse practitioner business, and we would greatly appreciate your help in the form of feedback. Tell us what you like, what you see as valuable for you, or any other thoughts about the site. (if you have a daughter, we'd love her feedback as well) Thanks!
